Usage Note 36651: Tasks do not respond when you install the Polish edition of SAS® Enterprise Guide®
When you install SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2 in a Windows environment where the regional settings or the operating system's locale are set to Polish, the default footnote contains the following entry:
Wygenerowane przez System SAS (&_SASSERVERNAME, &SYSSCPL)
dnia %TRIM(%QSYSFUNC(DATE(), NLDATE20.) o godz. %TRIM(%SYSFUNC(TIME(), NLTIMAP20.))
The English equivalient of this footnote is as follows:
Generated by the SAS System (&_SASSERVERNAME, &SYSSCPL)
on %TRIM(%QSYSFUNC(DATE(), NLDATE20.)) at %TRIM(%SYSFUNC(TIME(), NLTIMAP20.))
The problem occurs because a closing parenthesis is missing after the first %TRIM. As a result, tasks do not respond.
To work around the issue, you need to correct the text string manually by selecting Tools ► Options ► Tasks ► Tasks General.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
A missing parenthesis in the default footnote of the installation process for the Polish edition of SAS® Enterprise Guide® causes all tasks to be unresponsive. To work around the issue, you need to correct the text string manually.
